The Sandusky County Sheriff's Office at 2323 Countryside Dr., Fremont, OH 43420 is the main location for background checks. The Records Office handles all check requests. Call 419-334-6448 for details. No appointment is needed, but walk-in hours are limited. You can go Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Plan your visit around these times because checks are not done outside of those windows.
